FARO Alternative Investments, through its Real Economy sub-fund and in collaboration with advisory firm Orienta Capital Partners, has finalized the acquisition of Sunseeker International (Holdings) Ltd., a prestigious British shipyard celebrated for its production of high-performance luxury motor yachts. The acquisition marks the transfer of ownership from the Chinese industrial giant Dalian Wanda Group.

The acquisition of 100% of Sunseeker is a significant milestone for FARO Alternative Investments, an innovative platform focused on creating value through a unique ecosystem of expertise and networking for investors and stakeholders. The transaction was supported by Miami-based investment firm Lionheart Capital alongside a club deal orchestrated by Orienta Capital Partners.

Located in Poole, Dorset, Sunseeker has over five decades of experience in crafting top-tier yachts and is widely recognized as a pioneer in the luxury yachting industry. The shipyard generated approximately £320 million in sales in FY 2023, primarily from yachts measuring between 15 and 50 meters. Sunseeker currently boasts an order book valued at around £540 million (€640 million) and is set to expand its offerings by focusing on the development of high-end superyachts.

Codecasa Shipyards announces the arrival of the hull for the new Codecasa 57 – Hull F81 at their facility in Viareggio. This promising new vessel is beginning to take shape, with delivery anticipated in Autumn 2025.The yacht features a robust steel hull complemented by an aluminum superstructure, powered by twin Caterpillar 3512E engines. Northrop & Johnson has announced the sale of the Custom Line Navetta 33, Hull 35, facilitated by Yacht Brokers Richard Higgins and Deniz Kayman on behalf of the buyer. The Custom Line Navetta 33 is a semi-displacement yacht currently under construction by Ferretti’s Custom Line brand. Designed by Zuccon, the yacht is RINA classed, featuring a beam of 24 feet (7.5 meters) and a draft of seven feet (2.2 meters). Interior spaces are thoughtfully designed for enjoying life at sea. The main deck includes a spacious lounge and dining area, while the bridge deck offers a lounge that opens to an outdoor area for dining and relaxation. The sundeck serves as the perfect spot for soaking up views, featuring sunpads, a hot tub, and lounge seating.
