Extra Yachts Announces Sale of First X90 Fast Unit
Extra Yachts has announced the sale of the first unit of the X90 Fast, with delivery expected in summer 2025. The client was introduced by Kristina Falkone of Aberton Yachts, marking the third joint deal between EXTRA Yachts and Aberton Yachts, following agreements for two X96 Triplex hulls.The X90 Fast, designed by Milan-based studio Hot Lab, features distinctive lines and concealed windows that allow for a sleek profile and natural light inside. This 27-metre yacht, part of the renewed EXTRA range, is constructed entirely in GRP and boasts a practical layout.The interior includes a spacious living room separated from the stern cockpit by a galley with up/down windows, providing a partition and functioning as a transit area for the crew. The crew quarters are located forward of the engine room, and the sun deck is accessible via an external walkway, leaving the fore lounge and wheelhouse free for guests. The lounge layout offers options for an indoor dining table or a relaxation area with a bar.Outdoor areas are a highlight of the X90 Fast, with 86 square meters of space designed for easy interaction with the sea and environment. The cockpit features a dining table for 8-10 people, a living area with a C-shaped sofa, a sunbathing spot, and a bathing section at the water surface. The sun deck includes a sunbathing spot, dining and relaxation area, and a fully equipped bar, with an optional second helm station and T-Top. The main deck forward can be outfitted with a C-shaped sofa and an optional hot tub with a sun pad.The yacht's interior is available in two variants using natural wood and a color palette of white and natural wood with glass inserts. The design emphasizes views of the outside, with structural furniture that feels lighter. Below deck, there are four double cabins with private bathrooms, including a master cabin amidships that takes advantage of the 7.1-meter beam. The crew quarters accommodate four people in two cabins with private bathrooms.The propulsion system features three IPS 1350 Volvo Penta engines, allowing the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 30 knots, a cruising speed of 24 knots, and a range of 1,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.Extra Yachts specializes in the development of yachts with a strong personality. Palm Beach Motor Yachts Partners with 52 Super Series Regattas in Newport
For the first time in its 13-year history, the 52 Super Series is set to take place in Newport, Rhode Island. The upcoming XS 52 Super Series Newport Trophy will be held from June 10-16, followed by the Rolex TP52 World Championship from July 15-20, both hosted by the New York Yacht Club.Palm Beach GT60Palm Beach Motor Yachts will support both regattas. Riva Showcases Innovation at Cavallino Classic Modena
Riva, known for its heritage and style, was a partner at the exclusive Cavallino Classic Modena, an international Concours d’Elegance dedicated to Ferrari models. The event, held from May 17 to 19, featured the new full-electric Riva El-Iseo powerboat and scale models of legendary wooden Rivas.The Cavallino Classic Modena, now in its fourth edition, is the Italian counterpart to the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic Concours d’Elegance. This year, the event showcased a Riva Anniversario. The venue, Casa Maria Luigia in Modena, Emilia-Romagna, pays homage to Enzo Ferrari, the founder of Ferrari. The event was hosted at the mansion of chef Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore.Riva presented the Riva El-Iseo, its first full-electric powerboat, displayed prominently in the pond at Casa Maria Luigia. Nautor Swan has kicked off its 2024 launching season with a spectacular start, having already launched eleven yachts, including two Swan 88s. With twenty-four yachts expected to be completed by Midsummer, the season is marked by significant activity at the yard.From May 27th to June 8th, Nautor Swan is hosting its annual Boatbuilding Technology Centre (BTC) Open Days in Pietarsaari. This event offers clients and prospective buyers a unique opportunity to explore the state-of-the-art facility and witness the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into every Nautor Swan yacht.Guests will be accompanied by Nautor’s knowledgeable international sales team, who will guide them through a comprehensive tour of the facility. Visitors will have the chance to observe every phase of the yacht construction process, from early lamination and fit-out stages to the final launch into the water. The tour will provide an in-depth look at the skilled work of Nautor’s boatbuilders, renowned for their attention to detail and commitment to quality.Highlights of the tour include a preview of the newly launched Swan 88, the versatile ClubSwan 43, and a glimpse of the Swan 128, which is the second-largest yacht in the company's history and is scheduled to be launched in 2025. In addition, the Swan range will be on display, featuring the Swan 48 MKII, Swan 55, Swan 58, Swan 65, and Swan 78, all available for visits and tests before they set sail to their home ports.
