44m Mangusta Oceano 44 Sold by Overmarine Group and HMY
Overmarine Group has sold the 44.47m Mangusta Oceano 44. She was sold to an American client in cooperation with Ale Navarro from brokerage house HMY Yachts. “At the moment Mangusta is represented overseas by all three product lines, with the number of all-metal vessels steadily on the increase. The Mangusta Oceano 44 is a super modern “Miami Style” loft, characterized by unprecedented use of glazed surfaces and large sliding doors on all decks that keep all onboard areas seamlessly connected – a feature and a new lifestyle that did not fail to captivate the сlient”, explains Mangusta President Americas Stefano Arlunno, who supervised the sale in cooperation with Ale Navarro from HMY.The yacht’s exterior and interior design came from Alberto Mancini, a naval architect penned by PierLuigi Ausonio Naval Architecture. The 44m superyacht spreads across three decks and features two swimming pools and the spacious beach club, who conceived to be the very heart of social life on board. The shipyard’s Design Department is already working with the client to select custom solutions and materials capable of truly reflecting the owner’s personal style.Mangusta Oceano 44 has a range of 4,500 nautical miles, a maximum speed of up to 16 knots, and a cruising speed of 11 knots, with maximum comfort ensured at all times by zero-speed and underway stabilizers.Unit number 4, Project Parma, is currently under construction and will be available for delivery in summer 2024.Overmarine Group was founded in 1985 by the Balducci family. The 33m Holterman X-Treme 105 has launched at the Holterman Shipyard in Meppel, the Netherlands. She was sold in 2020, and became the largest yacht in the yard's X-Treme range. After her go the 23.9m Holterman X-Treme 78 Fly and the 23.65m Holterman X-treme 78 Sport. The smallest of the range is scheduled for launch in November 2022. The vessel with a silver steel hull and aluminum superstructure was called Lady Fleur. Her naval architecture was made by Diana Yacht Design, an exterior design was drawn by Bernd Weel Design, and an interior penned by Trimm Design.Lady Fleur can accommodate up to 10 guests across five cabins. 82m Project Skyfall Sold by Admiral and FGI Yacht Group
Admiral has sold the new build Project Skyfall. The 82m vessel was sold by FGI Yacht Group’s Frank Grzeszczak for an American owner. “After an extensive three years of shipyard research and searching for a yacht builder to entrust with the creation of his dream yacht, this highly experienced American owner of multiple superyachts finally decided to build with The Italian Sea Group’s Admiral. His choice came as a result of Admiral’s incredible capability and innovative approach to building, always showcasing its willingness to work with this client to customize the project to make his dream a reality.” says Frank Grzeszczak, the FGI Yacht Group president and founder. The Italian Sea Group that operates with the Admiral brand now rivals Northern European shipyards in build quality and value and is now achieving a new milestone entering the American superyacht market with the sale of Project Skyfall. Skyfall spreads across five decks and can accommodate 12 guests between six elegant cabins. The idea behind the project is to bring a masterpiece to reality. The imagination of the designers and the entire creative team involved in the project is being tapped into to bestow a yacht that will grace the atmosphere wherever it may cruise. CL Yachts CLX96 Makes Her Maiden Sea Trial
The CL Yachts CLX96 underwent a successful sea trial in January. The 29.5m yacht was able to reach a top speed between 24 to 25 knots at full load condition with weights simulating tender and owner’s gear. “Our captain reports that the boat handled well and was very responsive to the helm. Two thrusters at the bow and stern provided a much higher level of confidence when docking. We have ourselves a yacht that operates smoothly throughout her RPM range. Thanks to her stabilization options, including a Quick MC56 gyrostabilizer and Sidepower fins, she is very steady in a seaway as well,” says Martin Lo, the company’s director.Her profile was drawn up by Milan-based designer Jozeph Forakis, who brought a fresh touch and a rebel’s insight to the sketches. CLX96 has already won the Good Design Award 2020, a Bronze A’ Design Award 2021 as well as the prestigious award from the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2021. She can accommodate eight guests across four cabins.“We wanted a fresh approach to the norm, and we did that by allowing designer Jozeph Forakis the freedom to create something different and unique, while holding true to our core values of quality, innovation and uncompromising seaworthiness,” continues Martin Lo. CLX96 is currently out of the water for final fitting. More sea trials will be conducted prior to her Asia debut this spring in Hong Kong. Canados Revealed 30m Oceanic 100 Shadow
Canados has shared the images of the 30m Oceanic 100 Shadow. The boat is now under construction and is designed by Canados Design Team with interiors by world famous Cristiano Gatto. Inside the main deck, a modern saloon and dining area as well as day head will occupy the aft section while the fore section is devoted to the full beam wheelhouse with reversed windshield and direct access to the galley and crew cabins for four. The aft section of the lower deck is accessible via a circular staircase. Three cabins are part of the layout: a full beam master, VIP cabin and a guest cabin. While 100´ long it is registered under 24 meters. She will carry a seven meter tender on deck as well as four PWCs, eight Seabobs, a five meter tender and behind her open beach club is located a diving center with more toys storage. She has a top speed of 25 knots and can cruise at 20 knots. Oceanic 100 Shadow is scheduled for delivery in 2023.The Canados shipyard was founded in 1946, on an ex-hydroplane base. Since then, more than 800 Canados yachts have been delivered. The shipyard is located in Rome, just 7 km from the international airport of Fiumicino and produces motor superyachts and semi-displacement yachts and has a range of 14 models from 13 to 43 meters.Credits: Canados
