The recently launched Custom Line Navetta 38 (hull 001) introduces a new level of sophistication and design within the brand’s Navetta line. This custom-made yacht, measuring 38.76 meters in length and boasting a beam of 8.00 meters, reflects the pinnacle of Italian style and innovative engineering.Developed through collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, the Navetta 38 embodies Custom Line's commitment to quality, spaciousness, and comfort. The yacht features exterior styling by architect Filippo Salvetti and interior design by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, blending timeless elegance with modern functionality.The Navetta 38 showcases a classic yet contemporary exterior design with clean, harmonious lines that blend seafaring tradition with refined luxury. The yacht’s exterior, characterized by simple and sculptural surfaces, emphasizes understated elegance and a strong visual presence.The interior design is equally impressive, with a focus on maximizing space and ensuring a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas. The yacht spans three decks, offering nearly 465 square meters of surface area. It accommodates 12 guests in five cabins, including a master suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck, each designed for comfort and privacy.The interiors are bathed in natural light, thanks to extensive use of glass, particularly in the main salon and upper deck salon, where floor-to-ceiling windows create an airy, light-filled environment. The design employs a palette of neutral colors such as beige and ivory, complemented by natural materials like teak, oak, and leather.A standout feature is the three-dimensional oak ceiling with a ribbed structure, adding a touch of sophisticated originality. This design element harmonizes with oak or teak floors and contrasting inserts, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.The main deck integrates interior and exterior spaces seamlessly. The beach club and cockpit, covering over 70 square meters, are designed for versatility and functionality. The cockpit opens towards the beach club, featuring modular, freestanding furniture and all-glass parapets for unobstructed sea views.The 42-square-meter saloon on the main deck, designed by Antonio Citterio, offers a timelessly elegant setting with custom-made furniture. The dining area can seat up to twelve guests, with a focus on fluidity and natural light.The lower deck houses four guest cabins, each with private bathrooms, designed with natural materials and neutral tones. The crew quarters in the bow accommodate six staff members in three double cabins with bathrooms. The main garage aft can store a 5.65-meter Williams diesel jet tender and other water toys.The upper deck, measuring over 90 square meters, features a spacious outdoor lounge and a panoramic indoor salon. The sky lounge offers unobstructed views and natural light, with furniture designed by B&B Italia Maxalto. Forward, the sunset lounge provides a private space for relaxation with custom-designed seating and a solarium.The 65-square-meter sundeck is divided into four areas, including a teak-clad hot tub, lounge, and barbecue area, all offering 360-degree views.Powered by two MAN 1,400 hp units, the Navetta 38 reaches a top speed of 15 knots and has a range of about 2,800 nautical miles at an economical cruising speed of 10 knots. The yacht is SCR-ready, reducing NOx emissions by 70% and aligning with Ferretti Group’s environmental focus.Advanced technology includes Fratelli Canalicchio stern mechanical movement systems, Naiad stabilizer fins, Seakeeper systems for stability, and a sophisticated audio-video system by Bang & Olufsen. Lomac to Debut GranTurismo 12.0 at Cannes Yachting Festival 2024
Lomac Milano is set to unveil the revamped GranTurismo 12.0 at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024. This world premiere marks a significant evolution of the renowned 12-meter model while maintaining the distinctive aesthetic of the Lomac brand.Scheduled for September, the Cannes Yachting Festival is a key event where major new yacht models are presented to an international audience. This year, Lomac will showcase the new GranTurismo 12.0, a redesign by Milanese designer Federico Fiorentino. The updated model features restyled lines and optimized water performance.Key updates to the GranTurismo 12.0 include a more robust and streamlined helm console, split driver’s seats for enhanced comfort and safety, and a refined bow seat integrated into the new console. Additionally, new cushions with exclusive patterns and contrasting edges contribute to the yacht's sophisticated appearance.The redesigned GranTurismo 12.0 enhances onboard comfort with a convertible bow sundeck and an aft area featuring a large foldaway table and C-shaped seating for six to eight people. The model also includes two large sundecks and a central walkway. The new T-Top made of fiberglass and composite materials, along with steel side and handrail grilles, reflect the range’s design features.Lomac’s in-house Technical Department developed the engineering of the GranTurismo 12.0, adhering to the #hullsupremacy philosophy. This approach aims to create highly efficient hulls that offer lower fuel consumption at similar speeds and weights compared to competitors, as well as higher speeds for the same fuel consumption.Powered by three Mercury V8 300HP engines, the GranTurismo 12.0 can exceed speeds of 50 knots, ensuring safety and control in various weather conditions.The new Lomac GranTurismo 12.0 will be showcased at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 10th to 15th, 2024, and will be available for sea trials by appointment.Lomac was founded in the early 1960s in Milan. First Unit of the B.Now 67 Family Launched by Benetti
Benetti celebrated the launch of M/Y Iryna, a 66-meter custom yacht, at its Livorno shipyard on July 19th. This event marks the debut of the B.Now 67 family. The ceremony was attended by the owner and his family, emphasizing the ongoing relationship between the client and the shipyard.The B.Now 67 family represents Benetti's latest range, combining advanced design and construction techniques. The owner’s decision to continue with Benetti underscores his confidence in the shipyard’s ability to deliver high-quality yachts.Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti’s Sales Director, expressed gratitude for the owner's trust and praised the design team for their contributions. “We’re excited to announce the launch of the first yacht in the prestigious B.Now 67 collection. This event marks an extraordinary milestone for our shipyard and our esteemed owner, to whom we are deeply grateful,” Petrozzi stated.RWD, the UK design firm responsible for the exterior styling, highlighted the yacht's elegant and dynamic design. The hull and superstructure are finished in three shades of grey, complemented by extensive curved glazing that covers up to 70% of the vertical surfaces.Benetti’s Interior Design Department, led by Mariarosa Remedi, crafted the interiors with a focus on bespoke details. The owner’s preference for Visionnaire furniture is evident throughout the design. The interiors are finished with untreated leather, curly maple wood, macassar ebony, and marble-effect ceramic tiling, chosen for its ecological properties.Iryna’s six decks include a main saloon, a full-beam owner’s suite, two VIP cabins, and four guest cabins. The yacht also features wellness areas such as a sauna in the beach club and a gym on the main deck. With a steel hull and expansive outdoor and indoor spaces, Iryna is designed to accommodate up to 15 guests.Benetti aims to deliver Iryna to her owner by the end of summer, completing the project in under three years from the initial design concept.Founded in 1873, Benetti is the oldest Italian shipyard specializing in luxury yachts. Benetti designs, builds and sells composite vessels from 29 to 44m and steel and aluminum boats from 37 to over 100m. 36m Moonshine Delivered by Moonen Yachts
Dutch yacht builder Moonen Yachts has successfully delivered Moonshine, a new 36.3-meter Martinique yacht.Moonshine embarked on her maiden voyage to Mallorca, marking the start of her owners’ first season on board. She is set to cruise the Mediterranean and the Caribbean this year before reaching her permanent home in San Diego, California.The yacht features a range of bespoke changes tailored by Moonen Yachts to suit the owners' preferences and intended use, including modifications to the yacht's length for a specific mooring location. The owners collaborated with Hollander Yacht Design to create a rich and characterful interior.Moonshine's final commissioning took place in Rotterdam before departing the Netherlands. Evo Yachts Launches the New Transformable Evo R4+
Evo Yachts has launched the Evo R4+, a 13-meter yacht that builds on the success of the Evo R+. This new model offers a closed deck solution and introduces notable enhancements such as an aluminium hard top and a multifunctional stern platform that extends the boat’s length by an extra meter when deployed.The Evo R4+ retains the sleek exterior and comfortable interiors that have come to define Evo Yachts, while emphasizing transformability to suit various weather conditions. This model, designed by Valerio Rivellini in collaboration with the shipyard, boasts a unique blend of livable exteriors and the comfort of a cabin cruiser.The aluminium hard top is a standout feature, produced in-house with removable Plexiglas parts that allow for partial openings, adapting to different weather conditions. This hybrid design creates an open yacht feel with the flexibility to switch to a more enclosed setup. Additionally, the hard top includes a spoiler for natural ventilation, Alcantara ceiling panels, and a sophisticated LED lighting system.In the beach area, the multifunctional stern platform, developed with Besenzoni, adds versatility. It can be lowered to about 80 centimeters below the sea surface, facilitating easy water access and can also extend completely to provide safe boarding from high piers. This platform also accommodates a tender or jet ski without requiring removal, enhancing convenience.The cockpit and beach area are designed for easy transformation, transitioning from a sun lounge to a dining area seamlessly. The "XTension" bulwarks, a signature feature of Evo Yachts, hydraulically expand to increase the deck space by 40%, creating a spacious 25-square-meter terrace.Below deck, the interiors are functional and customizable, featuring a double cabin, a well-equipped dinette, and a foldaway table that converts into an additional double bed. The use of premium materials and thoughtful design ensures a comfortable and luxurious experience.Powered by two 535 HP Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines, the Evo R4+ achieves a top speed of 34 knots and offers a range of approximately 300 nautical miles. She was born in 2014 from a fortunate encounter between Blu Emme Yachts and the Neapolitan yacht designer Valerio Rivellini. The heart and entrepreneurship that kick-started EVO originated from Blu Emme Yachts, a luxury yachts refitting company.
