Olokun, the third hull of Tankoa’s 50m All-Aluminium series, has been delivered to its owners.

The yacht was sold in March 2020. This project started on spec. and was designed by Francesco Paszkowski, like her two sister ships Bintador and Vertige, which were also based on platform S501. The owner of Olokun came aboard at a late stage, but the shipyard wanted to offer him a lot of flexibility, so two main layout changes were added – the main deck aft is dedicated exclusively to an enormous lounge for relaxation, with the dining room on the upper deck, while the forward master stateroom features a private study that can be converted into an extra en-suite cabin. The interior decor was designed by Casadio Miami.

Another novelty is the distinctive black hull and metallic grey superstructure that amplify the already sleek line of the yacht. Dark hulls can absorb the sun rays and overheat, but in order to satisfy the owner’s request and achieve optimal results, Tankoa has the highest performance coatings available, which reduce the temperature of the metal hull by as much as 10°C.
Olokun can reach a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.
Tankoa was founded in 2007 and began production in 2008. A true “boutique shipyard”, focused on building semi-custom and custom constructions 45-meter and up.
