The Italian Sea Group S.p.A. ("TISG") reported a robust performance for the first nine months of 2024, showcasing significant growth across key financial metrics. Revenues reached EUR 292 million, marking an increase of 11.4% from EUR 262.2 million in the same period last year. EBITDA improved by 16%, totaling EUR 50.1 million, with an EBITDA margin of 17.2%, up from 16.5% in the first nine months of 2023.

In detail, TISG's revenues stemmed from shipbuilding, contributing EUR 257.3 million, up 12.2%, while refit revenues totaled EUR 34.8 million, increasing by 5.8%. The strategic focus on operating costs and production efficiency bolstered EBITDA margins.
The backlog remains strong, with contracts related to new yachts and refit projects valued at EUR 1,275 million. Net backlog, deducting recorded revenues, stood at EUR 533 million.
Investments during the period totaled EUR 7.2 million, aimed at elevating production capabilities, including the establishment of a business unit dedicated to steelworks.
Net Financial Debt increased to EUR 19.0 million as of September 30, 2024, reflecting dividend payments and ongoing investments. The company continues to adhere to a strategic approach that balances growth and financial stability.
In governance news, following the resignation of Simona Del Re, Mr. Filippo Menchelli was co-opted to the Board and appointed Chairman. Menchelli previously led the company’s financial strategy and operational efficiency initiatives.
The Board also reaffirmed the independence of its non-executive directors in line with governance standards.

Looking ahead, TISG remains committed to its growth strategy for 2024 and 2025 and is optimistic about upcoming negotiations for large yachts, including new projects in the Admiral fleet. Following the great success achieved last September at the Monaco Yacht Show, in particular with the MY Admiral 66m JAS and MY Admiral 78m Platinum, the Company is working on several negotiations for large yachts, which it believes will be finalised between late 2024 and early 2025.
In this perspective, TISG recently presented to the market some details of its newest project in the Admiral fleet, ADM 75m, a response to the growing industry demands in the 70m+ segment, redefining the concept of elegance and comfort at sea.

The newly delivered Benetti Oasis 34 motor yacht Y has entered the brokerage market with Mark Seaton of Yacht. The 34.4-meter vessel was delivered in May 2025 and remains under full shipyard warranty. Currently berthed at Benetti’s shipyard in Viareggio, Italy, the yacht is available for immediate delivery.Designed by RWD, the Oasis 34M series features a distinctive Oasis Deck with fold-down bulwarks, a glass-sided infinity pool, and a spacious beach club area. Athens-based design studio IPYD has revealed Aether, an 80-meter superyacht concept developed for Oceanco's Simply Custom platform. The design features triangular geometric motifs throughout its exterior, referencing concepts of balance and harmony from ancient Greek philosophy.Presented at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Aether joins Oceanco's portfolio of semi-custom concepts built on a standardized technical platform by Lateral Naval Architects. Initial renderings show a continuous exterior profile with an open-plan beach club featuring spa facilities and lounge areas.The Simply Custom range offers owners design flexibility while utilizing pre-engineered naval architecture. Aether follows previous concepts including Ani by Vallicelli Design and Dunes by the Touch Studio. Hargrave Superyachts has launched its new 38-meter tri-deck motor yacht, the Hargrave 125, from its Antalya, Turkey facility. The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is hosting the 2025 Swan One Design Worlds from June 17-21, featuring 35 teams from 30 nations competing across four one-design classes. The event marks the competitive debut of the ClubSwan 28 class alongside established ClubSwan 36, 42 and 50 fleets."The Swan One Design Worlds highlight the energy and camaraderie of the ClubSwan family," said Luisa Bambozzi, Managing Director of ClubSwan Racing.
