About Nahlin

Designed for the British Lady Yule, the yacht has been loaned to King Edward VIII for a trip with his future wife, Wallis Simpson. Later used as the Royal Yacht of Romania by King Carol II, the yacht served as a restaurant following a revolution. Recovered by Nicholas Edmiston and William Collier in 2000, Nahlin was refitted in 2010 at the Blohm + Voss shipyard with a new design by Remi Tessier.Nahlin is a 90.22m (295.99 ft) luxury motor yacht. She was built by John Brown & Company in 1930. With a beam of 12.00m and a draft of 4.50m, she has a steel hull and steel superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 1356 tones. She is classified by Lloyds. She is powered by Curtis-Brown engines of 2200hp each, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 18.00 knots and cruise at 15.00 knots.
