Northrop & Johnson has announced the sale of the 44.81m Dorothea III by yacht Broker Joe Foggia, acting on behalf of the buyer. Dorothea III was delivered by Cheoy Lee in 2007. She is a classic expedition yacht that has been beautifully maintained since her launch. In 2021, she underwent an extensive refit and had a complete exterior repaint, installation of three new generators and an interior décor refresh, among other upgrades.

The yacht’s contemporary interior design features plenty of dark wood detailing combined with light-colored furnishings. Her main saloon is welcoming and spacious, with large windows that allow an influx of natural light. The yacht comfortably accommodates nine guests in five staterooms, including the ultimate private owner's deck with a king-size stateroom, en-suite bathroom and dedicated sitting room on the bridge deck. One of the cabins has been converted into a gym.

Dorothea III's additional guest accommodations include a VIP cabin with a king-size bed, a seating area with a sofa, a vanity and hanging lockers for storage. The two large port lights allow a flow of natural light and the cabin is finished with beautiful oak trim work and off-white wool carpeting.

The port and starboard guest cabins are forward on the lower deck, the port cabin featuring a king-size bed while the starboard cabin offers twin berths. Dorothea III's crew spaces welcome up to nine crew members and were designed by Ron Holland and finished to resemble a classic sailing yacht. Her exterior offers many alfresco dining and entertainment opportunities.

The yacht was last asking USD13,450,000.
