With their enclosed flybridge, Ocean Eco 60 Explorer and Ocean Eco 90 Explorer are solar-assisted electric long-range cruisers with the added feature of an extra space on the upper deck. They are perfect for boaters who love to cruise and explore in any season, in space and comfort, and they’re totally green.

Ocean Eco 90 Explorer is the same concept of the 60 EX on a 27.5m yacht, with an impressive beam of 14m. The elegant and contemporary lines, like on Ocean Eco 60 EX, are specifically designed for electric propulsion, so the space for solar panels is maximized.

In this case, the lower deck houses four cabins for guests and three for the crew.
The center cabin of each hull sports a fold-down balcony for beautiful moments of relaxation and sunbathing just above the sea surface.

The main level features a wet bar with stools, dining for ten, couches and armchairs for lounging. The center stairway, with two flights of steps, leads to the upper level, which can also be reached by a staircase outside. The terrace on three sides has a private area for the owner, with sun beds and a jacuzzi. Inside, the master stateroom enjoys a beautiful view on three sides and sports an office corner, a large bathroom and a second jacuzzi.

The propulsion system is fully electric thanks to its battery pack (up to 360 Kwh) and two electric motors. The traditional generators can be replaced by hydrogen fuel cells, making Ocean Eco 90 EX a fully emission-free yacht. The yacht will be ready by the end of 2021.

Alva Yachts was founded in Germany in early 2020 by Mathias May and Holger Henn. It was built on the former PICA yachts, which has launched more than 40 boats.
