During the Cannes Yachting Festival Numarine has unveiled the new model – 30XP, which will be equipped its first ever with diesel-electric propulsion. The new 30XP extends the Numarine range to five models, including the proposed new 45XP flagship, a steel and aluminum tridecker. Numarine is currently delivering around 12 yachts per year and is looking to increase production with a new waterside facility that should become operative in the next few years. The 26XP and 32XP models are highly demanded at the market.
The 30XP is a raised pilothouse design with bold exterior styling by Can Yalman. There is an enormous sun pad on the foredeck in front of the pilothouse. In addition to the main saloon on the main deck with full-height windows, there is room for open-air dining on the aft deck as well as on the covered sundeck, although the exact layout can be adapted by individual owners.
The 30XP can accommodate 10 guests in five en suite staterooms: four guest cabins on the lower deck and a master stateroom on the main deck forward with floor-to-ceiling windows and cut-outs in the bulwarks to maximize the sea views. The master stateroom also has an optional fold-down balcony. The crew mess and accommodation for five crew is in the forward section on the lower deck. The 30XP has a generous 43 sq. m beach club, the yacht can host a 6.25m tender.
“The 30XP is a model that we have introduced for repeat Numarine customers who are aiming to step up in size,” says Ömer Malaz, Numarine founder and chairman. “Following in-depth market research, it is a sign of the huge success of our XP range that three units of the new model have already been sold to existing clients. With the diesel-electric engines and POD drives, this is going to be a revolutionary model.”
Owners can choose between a diesel-electric propulsion system with Veth pod drives, or a conventional drive train comprising twin 560-hp MAN engines.
Construction of the molds is under way and 3 units are already sold. The shipyard is aiming to launch the first 30XP in May 2024.

VisionF Yachts has announced the near-completion of its new 14-meter Superfast 46 performance boat, capable of reaching 80 knots. The model will make its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 (September 9-14), with the first unit launching in coming weeks.The carbon fiber composite vessel features twin Mercury 450 HP Racing Sportmaster engines with Mercury's Active Trim system and Racing Revolution X propulsion. Its 3.7-meter beam and 0.47-meter draft combine with hydraulic steering and optional joystick controls for high-speed maneuverability.Technical specifications include 600-liter fuel capacity for approximately two hours of operation at maximum speed, Garmin 19" navigation displays, and a Fusion Apollo sound system. Safety systems comprise three bilge pumps and dual fire extinguishers.The Superfast 46 represents a new direction for VisionF, known primarily for luxury catamarans like its electric E-Cat series and aluminum models up to 47 meters. No pricing or delivery timelines beyond the Cannes presentation were disclosed. Turkish shipyard Ares Yachts has introduced its first superyacht, the 62-meter ketch-rigged Simena. The steel-carbon composite vessel will debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show (September 24-27) after completing sea trials.Designed to RINA Charter Class C standards, Simena ranks among the world's top 25 largest sailing yachts. Taka Yacht Design developed the exterior, while Design Unlimited created the interior blending classic and contemporary elements. The yacht features teak decks, mahogany joinery, and a hybrid propulsion system enabling silent electric operation up to 6 knots or 14.5-knot top speed with diesel assistance."Simena blends classic ketch elegance with cutting-edge technology," said Piraye Sahinkaya Orhun, Ares Yachts Projects Director. The yacht accommodates 12 guests and 9 crew, with a main-deck owner's suite and transatlantic range of 4,000 nm at 11 knots.Interior materials include walnut cabinetry, textured leathers, and marble-clad bathrooms. Columbus Yachts has started building its new 48-meter Crossover model at Palumbo Superyachts' Savona shipyard. The steel-hulled explorer with aluminum superstructures follows two previously sold Crossover units (42m and 47m), marking the shipyard's first self-financed project in this series.Designed by Hydro Tec, the vessel features an 8.6-meter beam and 2.75-meter draft, optimized for stability and long-range cruising. The exterior combines explorer-style proportions with a bulbous bow and streamlined stern for ocean-going capability. The latest 80-meter Amels Limited Editions superyacht has arrived at Damen Yachting's Vlissingen shipyard in the Netherlands after construction at their Galatz facility in Romania. The vessel will now undergo full outfitting in preparation for delivery in 2027.Project Manager Danker Rijk stated: "After an impressive launch in our Galatz shipyard, we are delighted to welcome this Amels 80 to Vlissingen to commence the outfitting phase.
