Numarine has unveiled its much-anticipated 30XP superyacht, marking a significant milestone for the Turkish shipyard. Notably, the 30XP is the brand's first model featuring diesel-electric hybrid propulsion, setting a new standard in sustainability.
As part of a seven-yacht fleet ranging from 22 to 45 meters, the 30XP fills a coveted mid-sized niche and has already secured interest from existing Numarine owners, with four units sold off-plan since its debut in September 2022, celebrated during the shipyard's 20th anniversary.
Designed by Can Yalman, who is known for his talent in blending form and function, the 30XP showcases a raised pilothouse design that optimizes internal volume while maintaining elegant aesthetics. Collaborating with Istanbul's Ofist Design Studio, the yacht's interiors are infused with Scandinavian-inspired chic, emphasizing simplicity and functionality.
Numarine Chairman Ömer Malaz expressed the excitement surrounding the 30XP's debut, highlighting its explorer capabilities combined with the innovative hybrid technology that promises lower emissions.
“This yacht offers an exceptional onboard experience with its spacious and well-appointed interiors, stunning exterior design, advanced technological features, and sustainable attributes,” said Malaz. “It gives a unique opportunity to connect with the sea, embrace the Mediterranean lifestyle, and create unforgettable memories surrounded by the beauty of nature, all while enjoying the pinnacle of luxury and craftsmanship. It is this on-board experience that distinguishes these models from the market.”
The 30XP offers significant space and versatility. With a total internal volume of 208 gross tons, the yacht can accommodate various layouts tailored to owners' preferences. External amenities abound, including a cleverly designed beach club. Its fold-down platforms expand the deck area to 46 square meters, perfect for water sports and swimming.
Guest experience is enhanced by the spacious master suite, complete with a private balcony, generous office space, and luxurious ensuite facilities. The lower deck houses four well-appointed cabins, ensuring comfort for up to eight guests. A crew of four, including a captain, enhances the onboard experience with exceptional service.
The 30XP's hybrid propulsion can be powered by twin 560hp MAN engines or a dual electric engine system, delivering a maximum speed of approximately 13 knots with an impressive cruising range of 3,000 nautical miles. This innovative approach not only ensures efficiency but also minimizes the environmental impact through the use of eco-friendly materials and waste management systems.
