The 62nd annual London Boat Show started on January 8 at London's ExCeL with Made In Chelsea actress Lucy Watson opening the event. "I'm thrilled to open the London Boat Show 2016 and can't believe how much there is for people to see and do here. There are close to 400 boats to try out as well as other experiences and demonstrations throughout the ten day event", Watson said. "I've manned the winch of a sail boat and watched a Seabob demonstration at the huge indoor pool! Whether visitors are boating beginners or sailing experts, there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy."
Not only BAFTA-award winning TV series' actress was the highlight of the show. Downtown Abbey star Hugh Bonneville was also a special guest at the event, opening the Sunseeker stand along with company founder Robert Braithwaite.
Bonneville said: "I am really delighted to be joining Sunseeker to celebrate the opening of their stand at the London Boat Show; particularly with the momentous launch of its 131 Yacht."
The 131 is one of four new models the company intends to launch in 2016. The superyacht was handed to her owners, who named her Zozo. She accommodates up to 12 guests dependent on layout, with the standard guest configuration able to accommodate 10 guests over 5 cabins. As for the performance, the tri-deck yacht has a top speed of 23 knots and a range of 1,500 nm at a speed of 10 knots.
The London Boat Show is currently underway, and runs until 17th January.
