New sport utility yacht, Nemo 44, is ready to be built at French shipyard Ocea. Designed by Fulvio de Simoni, the 44-metre aluminum yacht has a 4,000 mile range and huge amounts of space for tenders, sailing boats and jet skis. Nemo 44 features over 300 sqm of open-air spaces including a 25 sqm beach club, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, floating and water toys. Plans for indoor spaces include a 30 sqm "Loggia", lounges, wet bars, a 75 sqm master suite with his- and her- bathrooms, a gym, and up to five double cabins with private en-suite. However, the owner can choose every detail of the fully custom superyacht's interior and exterior decor.
As for the performance, Nemo yacht concept is designed to be run by two relatively small engines, with a total horsepower of 2800 mhp. These allow the vessel to comfortably achieve 16 knots in fast-displacement pace, with a cruising speed around 12 knots.
"The project by Fulvio De' Simoni is something really innovative in the segment, with a unique look and many unique solutions. We are ready to go into production and to work along with the customer to make of Nemo a tailored dream come afloat," said Francesco Merenda, general manager of MC Yacht & Co. International.
