Damen Yachting launched the Amels 6003 yacht at its yard in Vlissingen, the Netherlands on 3 March. The yacht will now undergo outfitting in preparation for her completion. This happened after the recent delivery of the second hull of Amels 60.

“It’s a proud moment to see the yacht launched successfully today. She looks stunning in the winter sunshine, a true testament to all who have worked so hard towards this moment. I know I speak for the whole team when I say how much we are looking forward to the next few months as we work on taking the build through its final phases,” says Joppe Osté, Project Manager at Damen Yachting.

In addition to her distinctive, elegant lines from Espen Oeino and sophisticated interior by Winch Design, she boasts hybrid power and propulsion technology for both sustainable performance and improved on board comfort.
The design of the Amels 60 is focused on the onboard experience, including her ample sun deck, swim platform, and folding owners suite balcony. She can accommodate 12 guests and 12 crew members plus captain.

The generous space arrangement also provides the means for the yacht to host a 9-meter luxury tender, stowed on the foredeck.
“We are very excited to see the yacht enter the water for the first time. With this milestone moment behind us we're very keen to move forward to the next stages and prepare this third Amels 60 for this year’s yachting season,” says Jorrit Pilaar, Sales Manager at Damen Yachting.
Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. The division combines the pedigree and heritage of Amels yachts with a growing portfolio of SeaXplorer yachts and Yacht Support vessels.
