At the 2021 Cannes Yachting Festival Wally shows the new models and projects presented during the Ferretti Group press conference on the first day of the show. At the entrance to the show, visitors are greeted by the awe-inspiring spectacle of the 48 Wallytender. But that is just the start: exhibited on the water are the 43 Wallytender X and 48 Wallytender X. Topping the bill is the eagerly awaited WHY200 while the striking new 58 Wallypower and the sailing superyacht Wally110 projects were presented at the conference.

Wally101
The fully custom Wally101 inspired by the Wallycento box-rule design. The outer carbon skin of the Wally101 hull has been completed and cured. Completion of the hull is scheduled for the end of October. At the same time, bulkheads, the keel trunk and other structures are under construction, and the engineering of the auxiliary systems is in progress. The rig engineering is due to be shipped at the end of 2022, with the new yacht on schedule for delivery in May 2023.
Wally110
The Wally110 is safe and comfortable, yet boasts a high performing pedigree. The raised saloon configuration and Terrace-on-the-sea concept maximise elegant living space, while the seductive lines signed by Judel/Crolijk & Co., will deliver fast, comfortable passages and a turn of speed around the buoys.
The larger Wally130 and Wally150 are being developed to complete the visionary brand’s range of new supersailers. Custom features and a range of keel and equipment choices will be available. But all the boats will share one thing: Wally’s mastery of the most advanced technologies in construction, engineering and systems put to the service of a new generation of supremely capable boats.
“Wally’s new sailing projects aim to reach new levels of cruising convenience, thanks to redesigned cockpit areas and interior. The 110 has great volumes thanks to a raised saloon, while the flush deck hides the cockpits that are recessed below the sheerline. These are three times bigger than traditional ones and also safer, due to their depth. The larger 130 and 150 boast extra features, such as the comfort of a sleek deckhouse, a private owner’s cockpit aft and ample tender storage,” says Luca Bassani, Wally Founder and Chief Designer.

Wally WHY200
Wally’s first full-wide-body model, the 200 GT yacht offers far larger volumes compared to traditional motorboats, plus a living space and stability that are definitely the greatest of the market segment. It essentially provides all the advantages of a catamaran but has none of its limitations. The motor yacht combines the comfort and space of a much larger displacement yacht with the speed and performance of a semi-displacement boat.
Measuring less than 24m loadline, the yacht is rewriting the rules to make volume the most important gauge of a yacht. The project was developed by Wally’ s design team headed by Luca Bassani and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, who worked with Laurent Giles NA Ltd for the naval architecture and Studio A. Vallicelli & Co for interior design. For the first time we shared her life images.
58 Wallypower
The new project was presented during the Ferretti Group press conference. This groundbreaking addition to the Wallypower line marks the start of the revamping of the iconic Wally range and will have its world debut at the Boot Düsseldorf show in January 2022. As on the 118 Wallypower, the 58 Wallypower features pure lines dominated by the double chines in the hull and the air intakes. The yacht’s interior is bathed in natural light from overhead, meaning there is no need for traditional openings to port or starboard. The superstructure of the 58 Wallypower displays typical Wally DNA with its pillarless curved glass, broad side decks, and ample guest areas that are open to the surroundings but protected from the sun, wind and water. Columbus Yachts has started building its new 48-meter Crossover model at Palumbo Superyachts' Savona shipyard. The steel-hulled explorer with aluminum superstructures follows two previously sold Crossover units (42m and 47m), marking the shipyard's first self-financed project in this series.Designed by Hydro Tec, the vessel features an 8.6-meter beam and 2.75-meter draft, optimized for stability and long-range cruising. The latest 80-meter Amels Limited Editions superyacht has arrived at Damen Yachting's Vlissingen shipyard in the Netherlands after construction at their Galatz facility in Romania. The vessel will now undergo full outfitting in preparation for delivery in 2027.Project Manager Danker Rijk stated: "After an impressive launch in our Galatz shipyard, we are delighted to welcome this Amels 80 to Vlissingen to commence the outfitting phase. This is an exciting milestone toward delivering another exceptional yacht on schedule."The 2,175 GT superyacht features exterior design by Espen Øino and interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Flexjet and Ferretti Group have introduced Riva Volare, a custom aircraft cabin design inspired by Riva motoryachts. The collaboration brings nautical styling to Flexjet's Gulfstream G650 jets and Sikorsky S-76 helicopters, targeting ultra-high-net-worth travelers.The Gulfstream G650 configuration accommodates 12-15 passengers for flights up to 16 hours, while two Sikorsky S-76 helicopters will operate in Florida and a new Milan-based service covering Italy and the French Riviera. Ferretti Group clients will receive preferential access to the helicopter operations.The design blends elements from Riva's 1960s Aquarama with contemporary Aquariva models, using artisanal materials and distinctive patterns. Italian shipyard AB Yachts, part of Next Yacht Group, has unveiled the AB 110S, a sportier version of its AB 110 model. The 33.7-meter yacht marks AB Yachts' first collaboration with automotive design firm EXE Design, incorporating elements such as a raked windshield and lightweight profile."We also boast over 20 years of experience in naval architecture. [And] this cross-sector approach is the real added value of our work," said Stefano Bedoni of EXE Design.Key features include multiple retractable systems: a sliding cockpit cover, a sunroof between the helm and saloon, and a hardtop that can cover either the helm station or sunpad. The main deck integrates a sunbathing area and a bar serving both indoor and outdoor spaces. A forward "flying couch" provides elevated seating with panoramic views.Powered by three MAN V12X-2200 engines, the AB 110S reaches 48 knots.
