About Benetti
After WW2, wooden commercial boats had disappeared from the market so the company refocused on building steel, pleasure crafts. In the 1960s it started producing its first superyachts.
In 1985, Azimut took over the Fratelli Benetti boatyard in Viareggio, setting the roots for the Azimut Benetti group. The company later started collaborating with young designer, Stefano Righini, which would bring lines the company is known for today.
The company acquired the Gobbi shipyard in 2001 which now produced the group's Atlantis range from 10m to 18m. In 2004, the group acquired Fraser Yachts, a large yacht brokerage company. It later developed Marina di Varazze and the Royal Yacht Club in Moscow. By 2011, the group's net assets grew to €300 million with a turnover of €600 million, a significant cut on its €1 billion turnover of 2008.

This 316-meter vessel features luxurious details such as authentic mosaic flooring, intimate Asian dining options, and a selection of cozy single cabins, all crafted by the pioneers of the 'cruise yacht' concept.As a methanol-ready vessel designed for near-carbon neutrality, Mein Schiff 7 not only redefines technical capabilities but also pushes the boundaries of design. In contrast, the Hideki restaurant presents a distinctly different aesthetic, capturing the spirit of Asian dining through traditional wooden beams, rice-paper lanterns, and a beautifully patterned carpet—creating smaller, intimate dining spaces.“We aimed to offer varied seating arrangements for diverse dining experiences, from private rooms to cozy banquettes topped with wooden pergolas for added privacy,” added Guarnieri.Credits René Supper for TUIWith a capacity of nearly 2,900 passengers, Mein Schiff 7 boasts an impressive array of dining options, ranging from the intimate La Spezia to the Japanese-Asian Hideki.“What we appreciate about our designs is that while each area possesses its unique character, they also transition seamlessly from one to another,” Guarnieri noted. “We believe that achieving a sense of 'flow' is essential to the overall experience, easily felt upon boarding. Our designs are welcoming, featuring engaging architectural elements and a pleasing variety without being overwhelming.”TDoS has also introduced a groundbreaking feature to Mein Schiff 7 – single staterooms – catering to the rising demand among solo travelers. Located on Deck 4, there are 26 single cabins, each measuring 8 square meters.These staterooms share the design language of the standard cabins, with muted blues for upholstery, white-stained oak cabinetry, and carpets featuring wavy patterns reminiscent of undulating sand dunes. Beyond their visual appeal, much effort has gone into ensuring these cabins are as sustainable as possible.“We considered the environmental properties of every material, focusing on local sourcing and emissions,” Guarnieri stated. “For instance, we chose the Dansk Wilton Origin collection for carpets, which utilizes undyed wool. Ocean Alexander has announced the successful sale of its remarkable 32 Meter Explorer (32E). This transaction, facilitated by Brandon Flaherty of MarineMax Fort Myers in partnership with MarineMax Yachts, represents the first Ocean Alexander vessel for the new owners.The relationship with the clients began through their connection with the owner of an Ocean Alexander 35R, and it flourished as they shared memorable cruising experiences aboard the yacht FarNiente over the past three years. Inspired by these journeys, the owners decided to upgrade from their 86-foot Sunseeker, ultimately selecting the new vessel in November 2023 after evaluating multiple luxury yacht brands. The 32E was chosen for its exceptional spaciousness, impressive crew accommodations, and upscale interior features.“The 32E is an ideal choice for the owners,” Flaherty commented. “They were particularly impressed by the smart use of space, full-sized furnishings, and high-quality appliances that maintain comfort while embodying a European design aesthetic. Turkish Mengi Yay Yacht has unveiled the interior visuals of the Serenissima I (S1), the inaugural model from its sub-500GT series, following its introduction at the Monaco Yacht Show this year.Crafted by the esteemed Italian design firm Nuvolari Lenard, this 47.5-meter yacht was commissioned by a discerning owner seeking the expansive deck and interior comforts of a larger vessel in a more Mediterranean-friendly format. Standout features include a private elevator, an exclusive owner's deck, and a generously sized sundeck.The S1 model boasts a robust steel hull coupled with an aluminum superstructure, designed for both impressive range and speed. With naval architecture by the Dutch studio Van Oossanen Naval Architects, the yacht's innovative hull design provides a range of 4,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.The interiors have been meticulously crafted by the Nuvolari Lenard team under the artistic direction of Valentina Zannier.
